Gmail & Outlook

Gmail and Outlook are the foundation — everything in Bertram reads from and writes to one of them. Connect either or both from Settings → Integrations.

What each connection provides

• Gmail — Google Workspace and Gmail mail, plus Google Calendar. Gmail accounts also get the Primary / Promotions / Social / Updates / Forums category tabs in the inbox.
• Outlook — Microsoft 365, Outlook.com, and Hotmail mail, plus the Outlook calendar.

Working across accounts

With both connected, the account switcher at the top of the sidebar moves between them — or shows All accounts as one merged inbox. Drafts, labels, and threads stay separated per account.

Status at a glance

Each card in Settings shows its state: a green dot and the connected address when live, a Connect button when available, and Disconnect once connected. Disconnecting severs Bertram's access immediately without touching the underlying account.
