Creating events

New events, invitations, and conferencing links.

Choose New event in the calendar toolbar. The form asks for a title, date and times, and optionally a location, description, and attendees.

Inviting people

Type an email address and press Enter (or a comma) to add each attendee. Invitations go out through your connected provider, so attendees receive a normal Google Calendar or Outlook invite they can accept from anywhere — no Bertram account required on their end.

Conferencing links

Tick Add conferencing and your provider mints a real video link when the event is created — Google Meet on a Google calendar, Microsoft Teams on Outlook. Bertram never fabricates a link of its own.

Events created elsewhere keep whatever link they already carry — Meet, Teams, Zoom, or Slack — and the details panel labels the join button accordingly. If an event shows no join button, the invite genuinely has no link.

Editing

Open one of your own events and choose Edit to change the time, attendee list, or anything else. Changes sync back to the provider and out to attendees.

Bertram can propose meetings too
Delegate a task like "set up a sync with Dana" and Bertram suggests times and drafts the invite — you pick a slot and approve before anything is scheduled. See Delegate to Bertram.
