Command palette

One box for going anywhere and doing anything.

Press ⌘K and the command palette opens over whatever you are doing. Type a few letters, hit Enter, and you are there — no reaching for the sidebar.

What's inside

  • Navigation — jump to Inbox, Drafts, Bin, Meetings, Briefing, Todos, Contacts, or Settings.
  • Actions — compose a new email or drop into search, straight from the palette.
  • AI — run inbox prioritization.
  • A shortcut reference — the mail-list, email-view, and compose bindings are listed with their keys, so the palette doubles as a cheat sheet.

Every entry shows its keyboard shortcut alongside, which is how most people eventually stop needing the palette for their common moves — it teaches you the faster way as you use it.

Palette or search?
⌘K finds pages and actions; / searches your mail. Two boxes, two jobs.
