Contacts
The people in your mail, with history and notes.
Contacts is built from your actual correspondence — the people you email, not an address book you have to maintain. Each entry shows how many emails you have exchanged and when you last spoke.
Building the list
Choose Sync from email and Bertram scans your mail for the people in it, reporting what it found. Run it again whenever; it only adds who is new. The search box filters by name or address as you type.
A person's page
Open a contact and you get the working file on that relationship:
- Notes — a free-text field that saves with a click. Timezones, preferences, the name of their dog.
- Waiting on them — open follow-ups where they owe you a reply.
- Open tasks with them — todos connected to this person.
- Recent threads — your latest conversations, one click away.
